Meet Us
Pat Zak
PT, CEO
As founder and head physical therapist at Pro-Active, Pat has been practicing physical therapy for more than 25 years. He graduated with honors from the University of Colorado and continued with post-graduate coursework in sports and manual physical therapy. A former member of the U.S. Navy Seal Team, Pat specializes in strength and conditioning and has training in soft tissue mobilization, myofascial release therapy, joint mobilization and augmented soft tissue mobilization, among other specialties. In his spare time, he coaches high school track and plays ice hockey.
Heidi Wyman
PT, DPT
Heidi Wyman is a board-certified orthopedic clinical specialist with 23 years of experience all over the United States. She is honored to have had the opportunity to serve our military populations and spent half of her career working closely with our active-duty population. She specializes in outpatient sports and orthopedic treatment, manual therapy, dynamic stabilization, education, prevention and return to play. Heidi also has extensive training in advanced manual therapy techniques including dry needling, spinal manipulation, Graston & Kinesio taping.
She lives with her husband, Doug, and her three active teenagers. When not in the office, she is out skiing, surfing behind a boat, mountain biking, coaching volleyball and cheering on the local teams. She is super excited to be part of this active community and to make McCall her home.
Brooke Conrad
PT, DPT
Brooke Conrad graduated with her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Idaho State University in May 2023 then joined the team at Proactive Physical Therapy shortly after. She specializes in outpatient orthopedic and sports physical therapy as well as manual therapy including joint mobilization/manipulation and peripheral nerve mobilization techniques. She has always had a passion for working with active individuals and athletes.
When she is not working, Brooke enjoys spending time with her husband Chase and her dog Millie. She has many hobbies and enjoys being active. When not in the office, you can catch her surfing behind the boat, running, snowboarding, or reading a book. She is very excited to call McCall home and is looking forward to working with you.
